OLDS — RCMP are investigating a suspicious incident in the community involving a couple of men and two young girls.
On Friday May 14, at about 7 p.m., two girls aged 10-11 were on their bicycles on a path behind Balsam Crescent and 53rd Street, close to 57th Avenue.
At that point, two older men in what is described as a “rusty old red minivan” pulled up near them. One of those men got out of the minivan and approached the girls.
Olds RCMP are looking for any possible witnesses to this incident, or anyone in the area who may have door camera or surveillance video that might show this vehicle in that area at that time.
Also, if any local residents had a similar interaction with these girls at that time, they’re asked to contact Olds RCMP at 403-556-3324.
