An Olds teen charged in a fatal crash last fall will be back in Didsbury court on Jan. 16.
Dilan Kolb, 19, was charged with failing to proceed safely after being involved in a collision on Highway 2 north of the Didsbury overpass on Oct. 6.
The collision occurred shortly before 1 p.m. when the driver of a 2005 Ford pickup attempted to cross both the north and southbound lanes of the QE II, police said.
While the driver of the pickup was attempting to cross the northbound lanes, he drove directly in front of a black 2010 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 26-year-old woman from Calgary and carrying two passengers, said police.
One of the passengers, a 62-year-old woman from North Bay, Ont., was killed.
Kolb's first appearance in court was on Dec. 21.
