Oldstoberfest -- the very unique combination of cowboys, traditional German garb, rodeo and biergarten - is coming back to Olds.
It's scheduled to take place Sept. 15 and 16 at the Olds Regional Exhibition.
The first edition was held there in September, 2015. Organizers say it attracted about 8,000 people.
After that event, it was announced that Oldstoberfest would be held every two years.
However, coordinator Gillian Shields says it's now being organized and promoted by a new company, C5 Rodeo. They plan to run it every year.
More information will be provided in an upcoming edition of the Albertan.
