One Olds water line repair completed another starts Wednesday

OLDS — The latest water line repair at 54^th Street and 48^th Avenue in Olds was completed Tuesday, although restrictions on 48th Avenue and 54th Street will remain into the evening until crews have finished backfilling the repair site.

As a result, 48^th Avenue will be closed from 54th Street to Richards Crescent. 

Then, starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, lane restrictions will be in place on 53^rd Avenue by 56A Street Close for another water line repair at 56A Street Close and 53^rd Avenue.

It’s not yet known how long those restrictions will be in place.
