OLDS — A proposal to improve traffic flow on Highway 27 at 57th Avenue is expected to come before town council when it starts hammering out the next town budget.
That’s the prediction from chief administrative officer Brent Williams.
“Long story short, during budget deliberations you’ll be seeing a business case for a right-in, right-out scenario at both sides of 57th Avenue, north and south,” Williams told council during its Sept. 26 meeting.
He said the idea has been discussed with Alberta Transportation officials, but that “it’s ultimately for council’s consideration.”
