Police investigating "suspicious" vehicle fire

Rd. 21, north of Highway 27 on Jan. 3 at about 7:45 p.m., where they found the four-door Nissan SUV fully ablaze.

Olds RCMP are investigating a vehicle fire, the cause of which they say is "suspicious."

Police and Olds firefighters were called out to Rge. Rd. 21, north of Highway 27 on Jan. 3 at about 7:45 p.m.

There they found an unoccupied "fully involved in fire," according to a news release.

The blaze was quickly put out.

Firefighters say damage was "extensive," but contained to the SUV.
