OLDS — RCMP issued a public plea today (Oct. 20) for help in solving a case of vandalism at the Olds Splash Park.
At about 3:43 a.m. on Oct. 14, CCTV cameras showed two males parking near the splash park in a car believed to be a Chevy Cobalt with black rims and a spoiler.
The two males approached the park carrying baseball bats, Olds RCMP said.
About 10 minutes later, they left the park. Police said one male was carrying a piece of a sprinkler in his left hand. Moments later they left the scene in the car.

He wore a red shirt with white lettering, dark sweater or jacket, light coloured baseball cap, blue jeans, and dark shoes.
Police say his accomplice, also a Caucasian male, is believed to be in the same age range as the driver.
He is described as being about 5'8," with a thin build and light coloured straight hair.
He was wearing a black baseball cap, a light coloured Adidas sweater, blue 'skinny' jeans and dark runners.
