A quick trip to Olds Sobeys to buy an apple turned out to be very fruitful for Olds’ Rena Quintin adding $8,170 to her bank account. Rena bought a single ticket at Sobeys for the Olds Rotary and Kiwanis Club of Olds’ joint effort 50/50 draw. Her name was drawn June 21 at the Olds Golf Club. “I’m excited and surprised. It’s the sweetest apple I ever bought,” said Quintin.
