The Olds & District Chamber of Commerce needs your small business nominations. The Aug. 31 deadline has been extended to Sept. 6.
Nomination categories are: Community Spirit Awards – for profit and non-profit; Business of the Year Award – 15 and fewer and 16 and over; People’s Choice; Youth Employee of the Year; President’s Award; and Exceptional Customer Service Award. Nomination forms are available online.
The small business kickoff will be the Business, Beer and Blue Jeans event at Our Flames Lounge, Sept. 19. It’s a come-and-go event from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Business Awards Gala is Oct. 17 at the Olds College Alumni Centre. Tickets are $65.
