Ticketing in effect for early Thursday morning Olds snow removal

OLDS — Snow removal will begin in the Uptowne area of Olds in “the early hours of the morning” of Thursday, March 21, the municipality says in a news release.

The grader will begin work at 3 a.m. Trucks will begin operations at 5 a.m.

“Ticketing will be in effect,” the release warns.

Snow removal will take place on the following streets:

• 50th Avenue from Highway 27 to 54th Street;

• 51st Avenue from Highway 27 to 53rd Street;

• 50th Street from 49^th Avenue to 51st Avenue;

• 48th Street from 50th Avenue to 51st Avenue;

• 49th Street from 50th Avenue to 51st Avenue;

• 51st Street from 50th Avenue to 51st Avenue;

• 52^nd Street from 50th Avenue to 51st Avenue; and

• 53rd Street from 50th Avenue to 51st Avenue.
