OLDS — Operations director Scott Grieco has some advice for frustrated motorists in Olds now that pothole season has arrived.
They can phone the Town of Olds to indicate where they’ve found potholes or report them online.
During a council meeting, Grieco said staff are on the lookout for potholes, but citizens are an invaluable resource.
"We are always circulating around the community, making our rounds, ensuring that our roads are safe. So they are going to be audited, put on a list and be dealt with as soon as possible,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Town of Olds' winter road maintenance was under budget as of the beginning of last month.
Grieco made that statement during a report to town council.
He said more details will be known when a full report on how the winter maintenance season went is released. That’s expected to occur this month.
