OLDS — Several road closures in Olds have been implemented Thursday, Feb. 1 as crews began repairing a water line north of 61st Avenue and Ash Street.
The closures took effect starting at 7 a.m. Thursday. Access to 61st Avenue was restricted and the south side of Cypress Close was barricaded north of Ash Street.
The Town of Olds issued a notice on its website and via other media that these closures will remain in effect until the repairs are completed.
Schools were also informed about the changes.
“We urge everyone to navigate the area with caution, go slow, and heed all posted signs,” the notice said. “Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to improve our community's infrastructure.”
