OLDS – RCMP are seeking public tips after a pickup truck was stolen from Olds College today (Oct. 16).
The vehicle is described as a 2005 GMC Sierra, silver in colour but may appear to be tan, with a black push bumper on the front, square LED headlights, and tinted out windows.
The truck was last seen with a blue 45-gallon barrel in the box.
The vehicle may be in the Carstairs area, said Cpl. Tammy Keibel.
“If the vehicle is located, the public is asked not to approach it and to call 911 immediately,” she said.
“Obviously should anyone be with the vehicle we don’t want anyone to approach it or get themselves into an altercation. It would be best to call 911.”
Keibel could not say what, if anything, was in the 45-gallon barrel.
