Two people were taken to hospital with non-critical injuries following a collision on Highway 27 roughly 17 kilometres east of Olds on July 5.
Police said the crash happened near the highway’s intersection with Rge. Rd. 281 at about 5:30 p.m.
An eastbound vehicle was slowing and attempting to turn left off the highway when another vehicle that was several vehicles behind attempted to pass and struck the turning vehicle, police said.
A woman from Three Hills who was in one vehicle was transported by STARS air ambulance to Calgary’s Foothills Medical Centre and a man from the other vehicle was transported to hospital in Red Deer.
Each vehicle had multiple occupants.
Police said charges are pending.
