OLDS — The Community Lending Shelf and Coats For Everyone are now in their new home – the former Olds fire hall, and they’re open in their new location, director Lucinda Watkins says.
The Community Lending Shelf accepts donations of gently used clothing. Coats For Everyone provides free warm winter clothing for anyone who needs that.
Dec. 2 was their first official day of operations in their new home.
The two services moved into the still municipally-owned former Olds fire hall, located at 4829 50th St. on Nov. 30 with the help of lots of volunteers.
Previously, they had both been located in the basement of the Olds United Church.
