OLDS — A woman was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries after she was involved in a collision with a garbage truck Tuesday morning (March 23) southwest of Olds.
Olds RCMP Cst. Morley Statchuk says the collision occurred after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Rge. Rd. 20 and Twp. Rd. 324.
“There was a car that was southbound on Rge. Rd. 20 and it collided with a westbound garbage truck that was on Twp. Rd. 324,” Statchuk said during an interview.
“The female driver of the car was just taken to hospital, just for some attention," he said. “I can’t confirm how severe – if any injuries – but yeah, the female driver was taken to hospital.”
