Shockingly enough, the Liberal government's deficit budget ó which has nearly tripled beyond the party's campaign promise ó seems to have no shortage of support from groups and organizations throughout Canada.

I recently ran 21 kilometres (K) without any running training. I work out at the gym on a regular basis but have never run this far. The furthest I've run is 10K, which was over a year ago.

I recently attended a long-awaited meeting on March 7 at the Sundre Hospital and Care Centre regarding the future of our long-term care wing and if and when the residents will be moving to the new Mountain View Seniors' Housing facility.

I'd like to take this opportunity to provide an update on continuing care services in Sundre and a new care option that we are bringing to the community.

The medical community in Sundre has a long history of working together and overcoming the challenges to provide first-rate services across the West Country.
