Sundre's Greenwood Neighbourhood Place Society hosted as part of seniors week an opportunity for people to learn more about the group's programs while also enjoying an opportunity to socialize over coffee or tea and cake last Wednesday, June 6 at the organization's office next to the community centre.

This Friday, June 15 is the annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. GNP's coordinated community response program to combat elder abuse will be hosting a free-to-attend presentation outlining signs of senior abuse as well as appropriate responses to be mindful of during daily interactions in public from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sundre Seniors' Supportive Living facility's drop-in centre.
