Laura Coward will be back in court next month following a brief appearance in front of a Didsbury provincial court judge on Nov. 3.
She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her nine-year-old daughter Amber Lucius, whose body was found in a vehicle on a rural road near Sundre on Sept. 2.
Coward made the appearance before Judge P. Barley via closed-circuit TV from Calgary. Her next court date is set for Dec. 1.
Police officers have not released the cause of death or the exact location where the body was found.
