Members of the Sundre Curves Club donated 792 pounds of food to the Mountain View Food Bank last week.
The non-perishable food items were collected throughout the month of March, as part of an annual Curves food drive.
In past years the Sundre club has competed with clubs in other communities, but this year was an in-club challenge and the members were divided into two teams.
Frank Henley from the food bank picked up the donations on April 1. There was also $30 donated in cash.
One member donated $150 and requested that it be used to purchase baby food, according to Mae Bateman, a staff member at Curves.
“It's a great feeling,” said Bateman.
