FortisAlberta supports Sundre’s Tree of Hope fundraiser

SUNDRE – The Sundre Palliative Care Association recently received $500 from FortisAlberta in support of the annual Tree of Hope fundraiser.

The association is a non-profit organization whose volunteers among other things provides the community with grief and bereavement as well as spiritual or pastoral support. 

The annual Tree of Hope fundraiser, which takes place this coming Friday, Dec. 6 starting at 5 p.m. at the Myron Thompson Health Centre, is a solemn ceremony whereby blue bulbs are lit in memory of loved ones who have passed on, while red bulbs send a message of hope to those who need support.
