Sundre RCMP officers are still investigating the cause of the collision on Highway 27 about one mile east of town on Oct. 3.
The head-on collision was a result of an older model motorhome veering off into the oncoming lane and hitting a semi truck.
There was one male occupant in each vehicle, the motorhome driver is a Calgary resident and the semi truck driver is a Sundre resident.
The Calgary resident was taken to hospital from the scene and remains in hospital, according to Const. Matt Floyd.
