Kirby Werdal, 10, helps load up hampers prepared by Sundre Santa's Anonymous volunteers at the former town office next to the fire hall on Friday, Dec. 18. His mom Heidi, brother Benjamin, 14, and sister Amanda, 12, were also lending a hand. The family, which lives east of Sundre, has been involved with the program for almost 10 years.
Simon Ducatel joined Mountain View Publishing in 2015 after working for the Vulcan Advocate since 2007, and graduated among the top of his class from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's journalism program in 2006.
