SUNDRE – The project to replace leaking waterlines under Centre Street in Sundre just north of the traffic lights at the intersection with Highway 27-Main Avenue is progressing well, the municipality’s project manager has said.

While there have been some difficulties locating service lines into the buildings, the “contractor is doing a great job,” said Carl McDonnell.

“(There are) just two more services to tie in and then we can pressure test the line,” McDonnell told the Albertan on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

“If everything stays on track, we will be paving next week,” he said.
