Rhyme and Rhythm returns to Sundre library

Fall programs require preregistration due to pandemic restrictions on numbers

SUNDRE — With the Sundre Forest Products Summer Reading Club having wrapped up late in August, fall programming at the Sundre Municipal Library resumed earlier this month.

Several children enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the Rhyme and Rhythm program on Thursday, Sept. 10, which includes a craft activity as well as an interactive story time.

Mom Brandy Thompson, who brought out her daughter Leia Flodell, 4, from their new home east of Sundre, said she was grateful for the opportunity to once again get her daughter participating in activities after largely being cooped up for months throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The next sessions are tentatively set for early October. Numbers are restricted due to health protocols that require physical distancing, so participants must call the library at 403-638-4000 to pre-register.
