Many people shopped this year's annual Sundre Christmas Farmers Market while listening to live music at the community centre on Sunday.
Vendors were selling everything from Christmas crafts to jams, skin care products, crocheted items, baked goods, jewelry, purses and honey.
This year, children were able to have their faces painted while their parents shopped around.
Michele Waters was selling her husband Chris's hand forged iron products from Chinook Forge located south of the Sundre Golf Club.
“Everything is hand forged by Chris using traditional methods,” said Waters. “He's the kind of guy that can do whatever he puts his mind to.”
She said he has been doing it for almost 20 years, but it was their first year participating in the Christmas market.
Agatha McRae from Didsbury was selling her husband Murray's handcrafted wood products.
“He is 90 years old and of course this keeps him off the street,” McRae joked.
She paints some of the products, which include signs, tables and newsstands.
Sundre's Shirley Wells was selling handcrafted Christmas centrepieces, which she has been making for 40 years. She started with floral arrangements and later got into festive crafts.
Gill Belanger from Blackfalds was selling framed paintings, which has been a hobby of his for 20 years.
Sundre's Olga Melnychuk was selling baked goods as well as knitted and crocheted items. She has been knitting and crocheting for 20 years.
The Sundre Christmas Farmers Market will be held again in December.
