SUNDRE – The Friends of the Sundre Library have for the first time in two years put together just in time for the holidays a silent auction fundraiser for the Sundre Municipal Library.

With plenty of items to choose from, the silent auction offers people an opportunity to find unique Christmas gift ideas while supporting a valuable community asset.

Mom Wanda Landis, who lives in Bergen, is a longtime library patron who over the years has appreciated the programs and services available to families and the community. Growing up, her daughters Chloe and Avery have also been regulars who are grateful to have access to the library.

“We’ve spent a lot of time here,” said Wanda, who alongside her daughters was perusing the items at the silent auction on Nov. 16.

She added the library has proven to be a “great resource over the years.”

The silent auction wraps up this Friday, Nov. 25.
