SUNDRE — There was a lengthy lineup last Thursday, Sept. 8 at the side entrance of River Valley School for the Welcome Back BBQ Community Recreation Registration event.
Originally starting more than 10 years ago as a function to feature what extra-curricular programs and activities were available at the school, the event since branched out to expand into the Sundre Community Centre to include other community organizations and clubs as well.
The event not only offers residents an opportunity to conveniently register their children for a variety of groups all in one spot at the same time, but also introduces newcomers to the multitude of options that are available even in a small town like Sundre.
