Sundre council sets 2023 meeting schedule; approves appointments

Town of Sundre’s annual housekeeping includes reviewing code of conduct and procedural bylaws

SUNDRE — Council approved the schedule of meetings for the coming year and also named the deputy mayor before confirming committee and board appointments during an annual organizational session.

The Nov. 1 organizational session of council, followed immediately afterward by a regular meeting, was fully attended in person by all members and also included the approval of council’s procedural as well as code of conduct bylaws.

Coun. Paul Isaac was named deputy mayor.

With the exception of statutory holidays and the summer hiatus, council will continue conducting regular meetings twice monthly on Monday evenings starting at 6 p.m. unless otherwise notified.
