Team Peterman's debut game at Junior Canadians was played Saturday morning against B.C. The team includes Sundre's Becca Konschuh.
The girls admitted they went into this first game feeling a bit nervous, and their play was a bit shaky but they managed to squeeze out a 9-8 victory.
Their second game Saturday was against Saskatchewan where they started out strong scoring 4 in the first end and controlled the game and were able to shake hands after 7 ends.
Day 2 for Team Peterman started with a morning draw against PEI. The girls played with confidence and were able to score two 3 enders and ended up with 9 to 4 win after 9 ends.
The first 3 games were played on arena ice at the Strathcona Paper Center.
Their fourth game was played at Napanee Curling Rink.
The team seemed to have a bit of trouble with their weight in the first couple of ends but after a well played 4th end the girls steal 3 taking a 5-2 lead and then continue to play well ending up with their 4th win with a 9-6 final. A great start to a very long week.
