Red Deer hosted Jr. Men's and Ladies Southerns this past weekend and Sundre curlers had a very good showing. Team Webster recorded three wins: 10-3 against Team Garinger from Coaldale, 11-3 against Team Roy from Airdrie, and 9-5 against Team Carroll from Oyen, placing them as A-Qualifiers. Team Peterman had a 9-4 win against Team Misskewitz from Airdrie and a 8-6 win against Team Orr from Red Deer, where they tied the game in the 9th end and stole 2 points in the 10th to advance as A-qualifiers. Two other ladies teams and two other men's teams will qualify to represent SACA at The Subway Jr. Provincials January 10th-15 in Medicine Hat.
