Trial date set for Sundre male

The case of a Sundre male charged with several criminal offences earlier in February has been scheduled for trial. Tyson Dichrow, 24, is scheduled to appear in Didsbury provincial court Feb. 19-21, 2019.

A trial date for a Sundre man facing charges following a joint investigation between the RCMP and the Internet Child Exploitation unit was set for next February.

The case of a Sundre male charged with several criminal offences earlier in February has been scheduled for trial.

Tyson Dichrow, 24, is scheduled to appear in Didsbury provincial court Feb. 19-21, 2019.

Following a tip submitted by a concerned student to a parent who in turn alerted local authorities on Jan. 30, 2018, the Sundre RCMP initiated an investigation with assistance from the Internet Child Exploitation unit into the alleged victimization of two females from Sundre.

Dichrow was subsequently arrested and taken into custody on Feb. 3, and was conditionally released following a bail hearing on Feb. 6.

His latest court appearance was on June 11, when the trial date was set.
