Two ongoing court cases were recently adjourned until September and December.

Robin Strub, 30, from Caroline, the former treasurer of the Sundre Community Van Society who last month was charged with breach of trust following allegations of unauthorized personal expenses in the amount of about $6,300, was to appear in Didsbury provincial court on Aug. 13. Click here for more. Her next court date has been scheduled for Sept. 17 for election and plea.

In an unrelated matter, Ginia Marie Ann Rees, 36, from Sundre, who following the theft of several animals from a Garrington Bridge area property was charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000, six counts of theft of cattle, mischief under $5,000, possession of stolen property as well as obstruction, was to appear in Didsbury provincial court on Aug. 20. Click here for more. Her next court date was scheduled for Sept. 24 for election and plea.

Carl Gerald Johnson, 60, from Rocky Mountain House, who was also charged with possession of stolen property and obstruction in connection with that case, was also to appear in court on Aug. 20. His next court date was set for Dec. 10 for election and plea.
