Sundre firefighters and EMS personnel work to extract a woman from one of three vehicles involved in an accident on Highway 27 at Westward Ho on Friday morning. Two adults, one male and one female, were taken to Sundre hospital with serious but stable injuries. The female was later flown to Calgary's Foothills Hospital by STARS, while the male was transported by ground to the same hospital. Weather and road conditions are believed to be factors in the crash, while alcohol and speed are not, say police. The investigation continued Monday.
