DOVER, Del. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester won her contest for a seat in the U.S. Senate Tuesday, setting her up to become the first woman and first Black person to represent Delaware in the Senate.

Republican Rep. Rob Wittman won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Virginia on Tuesday. Wittman, who worked at the Virginia Department of Health for more than 20 years, was first elected in 2007.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Republican U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley won reelection Tuesday in Missouri, fending off a challenge from Democrat Lucas Kunce. Hawley is among former President Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters.

Democratic Rep. Emanuel Cleaver won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Missouri on Tuesday. Cleaver defeated Republican Sean Smith to claim his 11th term representing the Democratic-leaning 5th District in the Kansas City area.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Virginia’s marquee matchups for U.S. House races in Tuesday’s election feature tight contests in a district being vacated by three-term Democratic U.S. Rep.

Democratic Rep. Jennifer McClellan won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Virginia on Tuesday, defeating Republican challenger Bill Moher.

Republican Rep. Glenn Grothman won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Wisconsin on Tuesday. Grothman won a sixth term in the reliably Republican district in eastern Wisconsin.

Republican Rep. Lisa McClain won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Michigan on Tuesday. McClain has served in the U.S. House since 2021.

Republican Bob Onder won election to a U.S. House seat representing Missouri on Tuesday. Onder captured his first term in the 3rd District, which covers central and east-central Missouri, by defeating Democrat Bethany Mann.

Republican Rep. Adrian Smith won reelection to the U.S. House seat representing Nebraska's vast rural 3rd Congressional District on Tuesday. The win gives Smith a 10th term.
