Break and enter
A construction trailer was broken into and entered overnight on Sept. 2 or in the early morning hours of Sept. 3, police said.
The trailer was located near Rge. Rd. 281. Items stolen include GPS construction equipment.
Police did not say if there were any suspects.
Dirt bike taken
A dirt bike and a generator were stolen from the box of a truck on 51 Street in Innisfail.
The problem was reported on Sept. 3 to police. The dirt bike is described as a 90 cc 2002 Yamaha. The generator is a blue 2000-watt Yamaha.
Cst. Craig Bennett from the Innisfail RCMP reminded people to keep their valuables out of sight and their vehicles locked.
Utility trailer stolen
A homemade utility trailer was stolen from a residence at Penhold Estates,
Cpl. A.J. Mand said the trailer is white and black. The theft was reported on Sept. 1 and probably occurred overnight, he said.
Grass fire
Kids were observed running away from a grass fire at Jesse Duncan School in Penhold on Sept. 1.
Mand said there was no damage caused by the fire, which occurred at 7:46 p.m. The fire department attended the scene and put out the fire.
Bank mischief
An ATM at the Servus Credit Union was damaged during a mischief incident over the long weekend.
Mand didn't have the details on what kind of damage was done to the machine. He said police are in the process of getting surveillance video of the damage, which was reported on Sept. 4 but happened over the weekend.
Break and enters
Mand is reminding residents to “be vigilant” and report any suspicious people to the RCMP after recent break and enters occurred during the day.
