Lock broken
A business on 49 Avenue was broken into overnight between Sept. 6 and 7.
The incident was reported at 6 a.m. on Sept. 7. The gate to the business had been secured but the lock was broken.
Police said it appeared nothing had been taken.
Wildlife break and enter
Two 18-year-old males from Innisfail were caught breaking and entering into Discovery Wildlife Park at about 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Police said both men are being charged in the case and they were intoxicated during the incident.
The men hopped the fence and then entered a building, police said.
The pair is due in court Oct. 5.
Truck contents taken
A towing company in Innisfail was broken into and the contents of an impounded vehicle were taken.
The incident was reported to police on Sept. 9. The truck had been on site for three days, police said.
There are no suspects. It appears the perpetrator got in by going over the fence, police said.
Counterfeit bill
A fake US$50 bill was turned in to Innisfail RCMP on Sept. 10.
The man who brought the funny money in had gotten the bill after he held a garage sale in Innisfail over the weekend, said police.
Impaired driver
A 19-year-old male from Olds was charged with impaired driving and driving with his blood-alcohol level exceeding the legal limit on Sept. 6.
Police said on that date at about 1:40 a.m. an officer was patrolling on the QEII when they spotted some poor driving and pulled the man over.
Mischievous problems
A few different sorts of mischief were reported to police last week.
On Sept. 6, a woman reported that her GMC vehicle, which was parked in the 37 Street area, was keyed from the front of the vehicle to the back.
On Sept. 7, two 13-year-old kids were throwing rocks over the Highway 54 overpass. They were found by an RCMP constable and taken home to their parents.
No damage was done and no charges were laid in the rock-throwing incident, police said.
Cpl. A.J. Mand also reported graffiti tagging is an ongoing issue that is being reported around town.
Purse theft
A woman reported her purse was stolen on Sept. 11 from a store on 50 Street, police said.
Suspension given
A 43-year-old woman from Calgary was given a 24-hour suspension on Sept. 10.
Mand said the suspension was given under officer discretion. The woman was pulled over in Innisfail on 49A Street.
Stolen vehicles
Three different vehicles were reported stolen to the Innisfail RCMP.
The first is a 2007 red Saturn Neon that was reported to police on Sept. 13. The vehicle was parked on Lincoln Street in Penhold.
A quad was reported stolen on Sept. 7. Police said the owners had used it the previous night.
The quad was taken from a garage on a rural property in the Twp. Rd. 354 area. The quad is a 2011 red Honda, model number TE352B. The licence plate is VTK90.
On Sept. 10, a 2003 grey Ford F350 was reported stolen from the Dundee Crescent area of Penhold.
