CARSTAIRS - Hugh Sutherland School was the host for the recent Night of the Arts, a special event showcasing the school's arts programs.

DIDSBURY - Dinner theatre is returning to Didsbury as the Mountain View Theatre Project puts on its rendition of It's a Scream, a funny horror comedy play.

Recently a mural was created at The Bar Wellness and Fitness building by local artist Kevin Johnson. The mural shows two great blue herons in front of a pink and purple landscape, which was inspired by Johnson’s youth growing up near a large wetland.

Starting Nov. 30, the Olds High School Drama Club will be performing the story of Sister Act at the TransCanada Theatre.

Bowden resident Trudy Eikerman-Mills is the featured artist at the 2018 Olds Art Club's fall show and sale. This year's edition takes place at the Evergreen Centre Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
