Alberta Health Services lifted the blue-green algae advisory for Pine Lake last Thursday.ìTesting of lake water has confirmed that levels of blue-green algae-produced toxin are now well below maximum acceptable guidelines ñ meaning it is again safe to swim, wade, and consume fish caught from Pine Lake,î the health authority said in a media release.The advisory had been issued the previous week.AHS will continue to sample water from Pine Lake, as part of routine monitoring practices, the release said.
