The Queen's Bench trial of a 19-year-old man charged after a violent home invasion in Didsbury in November 2010 has been adjourned until July.Jesse Boyd Beach, of Carstairs, faces a total of 11 charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, break and enter and possession of a prohibited weapon.His trial got underway in Calgary Court of Queen's Bench on March 26 and ran until April 2, when it was adjourned until July 12 for continuation.Police say early on the evening of November 21, 2010, two males wearing balaclavas entered a residence in the 2400 block of 24th Avenue.Once inside the assailants produced a hammer and hatchet and struck several people in the home. One of the victims was struck on the head and was hospitalized in life threatening condition.A second man, Scott Lockhart Demolitor, 19, faces the same charges as Beach. He goes to trial in Didsbury on May 15.
