DIDSBURY - It was a fun time had by all on Saturday at the Mountain View Theatre Project's dinner theatre performance of Killed to Death.

It was the first-ever performance for the newly formed local theatre group on Saturday at the Elks Hall in Didsbury. More than 100 people came out for dinner and a show, Killed To Death, a play written by local resident Tony Sylvestre.

Sylvestre was also one of the eight local actors performing in the uproarious adult-oriented murder mystery farce.

"The crowd was excellent," said Sylvestre. "I think they had a lot of fun. There was a lot of laughter. I think the people on stage - we had four new people on stage - they did a wonderful job."

Also appearing in the play were Gary Edwards, Rick Phillips, Marlene Skeet, Cory Berry, Barry Beaudry, Chris Dussault and Nicole Dussault.

The dinner theatre show returns to the Elks Hall on Dec. 16 for another performance with tickets available at Gil's Truck and Auto.
