The accused charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking reserved his plea when he appeared in Didsbury provincial court on March 19.Timothy Lee Munro, the 27-year-old son of Mountain View County councilor Paddy Munro, appeared in court along with an agent for his lawyer.Munro's lawyer, Matthew Deshaye, had his agent ask to reserve Munro's plea so Deshaye can receive and review the disclosure package from the Crown. Disclosure packages contain the Crown's allegations and evidence in the case.Munro was charged after another man was slashed and wounded in a rural area southwest of Sundre on Feb. 19. The man who was slashed was airlifted to Calgary's Foothills hospital where non-life-threatening injuries were addressed.The accused was released on bail during his last court appearance on Feb. 22. He will appear again on April 16 for plea.
