DIDSBURY - Local RCMP members have been very busy over the last couple of weeks, dealing with everything from impaired driving to drug possession.
Didsbury RCMP Staff Sgt. Chad Fournier provided the following information to the Gazette:
• On June 21, Daniel Eric Grieger, a 64-year-old male of Carstairs, was charged with impaired driving and failing to comply with demand for breath sample.
• On June 27, Matthew William Kidd, a 19-year-old male of Didsbury, was charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and care and control when over 80 mg per cent.
• On June 15, Bryton James Riley, a 23-year-old female of Carstairs, was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level greater than 80 mg per cent.
• On June 20, Jamie Farkas, a 26-year-old male of no fixed address, was charged near Water Valley with possession of stolen property over $5,000 for a 2015 Mazda 3. Farkas was also charged with obstructing a peace officer.
• On June 20, Lisa McKenzie Quesnel, a 35-year-old female of Nanton, was also charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and obstructing a peace officer and two counts of breach of probation.
• On May 24, Mathieu Allan Smart, a 36-year-old male of Carstairs, was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine and 10 counts of various firearms offences.
• On June 11, Ryan Henson Munt, a 25-year-old male of Carstairs, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg per cent.
• On June 3, Christopher Howard Jones, a 49-year-old male from Didsbury, was charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief under $5,000.
