Temperatures in the Airdrie - Cochrane - Olds – Sundre area are expected to get low enough Sunday and Monday night that there’s a risk of frostbite.

Environment and Climate Change Canada’s 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 forecast for the area says a few clouds are expected Sunday night with wind speeds up to 15 kilometres an hour (km/h) and a low of -24 C.

“Wind chill minus 18 this evening and minus 28 overnight. Risk of frostbite,” the area forecast said.

Monday is expected to be mainly sunny with winds up to 15 km/h. High minus 13. Wind chill of -29 C in the morning and minus 16 in the afternoon. Risk of frostbite.

Monday night is forecast to be clear. Wind up to 15 km/h. Low -20 C. Wind chill -19 C in the evening and minus 24 overnight.
