Area firefighters have joined the fight against the raging out-of-control wildfire south of High Level.

CARSTAIRS -- After years of being accepted into the recycling program, glass is now no longer taken in Carstairs through the blue bin curbside pickup, say officials.

DIDSBURY -- A Red Deer duo were both charged with three counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 stemming from an incident in Carstairs on March 29. Charged were 21-year-old Shae-Lee Lynn Phillips and 39-year-old Brian Frederick Stephens.
