The Olds Grizzlys have racked up 15 points this season after two wins over the weekend.

The team downed Okotoks 3 - 2 on home ice Nov. 11.

The night previous, they beat out Drumhelller 5-3.

During that game, the Friends of the Grizzlys announced the Grizzly Giveback Development Program that will support development initiatives for hockey and ringette players in the south-central Alberta region.

The game was also Minor Hockey Appreciation Night and crowds of jersey-wearing players attended.

Meanwhile, the team's roster has seen some changes.

The Olds Grizzlys have made another trade.

On Nov. 9, the Junior A hockey team acquired forward Josh Borynec, born in 1998, and future considerations in a swap that sent Estian Coetzee to the Whitecourt Wolverines.

It was part of a three-way deal between the Grizzlys, Wolverines, and the Drayton Valley Thunder.

Borynec, from Carvel, Alta., is in his fourth season of Junior A hockey. As of late last week, he had racked up 52 points in 124 Alberta Junior Hockey League regular season games.

"The Olds Grizzlys are very excited about this addition and would like to welcome Josh to the organization," a news release from the club says.

"The Grizzlys would also like to thank Estian for his work for the team and wish him all the best in his future hockey endeavours," the release adds.
