Mosquito Spitfires win provincial gold

This team was made up of players from the two community teams that played this year out of Olds. We played in two tiering tournaments which determined that they would play in Tier II provincials, in Spruce Grove from July 22-24.

This team was made up of players from the two community teams that played this year out of Olds. We played in two tiering tournaments which determined that they would play in Tier II provincials, in Spruce Grove from July 22-24. In the round robin, our record was 3-1, advancing us to the gold medal game where we met the Innisfail Indians. It was a hard-fought game and the Spitfires came out on top for the gold with a score of 5-3.
