A press release sent out by the new management group, Friends of the Grizzlys, Monday morning said "much work remains in the immediate days and weeks to come."
"Friends of the Grizzlys will need your help to see this across the finish line and meet the requirements of the league," read the statement.
The statement requested that, in an effort to support expressed interest by local parties, that all individuals, groups, or businesses wanting to help support the team send an email to a newly created address, providing their name, email address and phone number. The email address is [email protected].
"Our group will then work to reach out to all respondents to ensure your support is acknowledged and acted on and that you are kept up to date with all news and events related to this process."
The statement said that the Friends of the Grizzlys will be making further updates with "relevant announcements regarding progress, supporting events and community outreach events" within the coming days.
