It was a good weekend for Olds College Broncos men's and women's basketball teams.
Each team won both ends of a home-and-home series against St. Mary's University this past Friday and Saturday.
The women beat St. Mary's 78-67 on Friday and 73-58 on Saturday.
The scores were higher – and closer -- for the men. They won 98-90 on Friday and 89-80 on Saturday.
The women's hockey team didn't fare so well.
According to the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference, their game on Thursday against Grant MacEwan University was postponed to Saturday.
The extra time to think about it didn't help.
They were beaten 5-1.
