The Olds Grizzlys have a chance to snap an eight-game losing streak tonight when they travel to Drumheller to take on the Dragons.
But it will be a challenge.
Not only is the game in the Drumheller Memorial Arena, thus providing home ice advantage for the Dragons, but they're in third place in the eight-team AJHL Viterra South Division, with 11 wins and eight losses and one overtime loss for 23 points, while the Grizzlys are in last place in the division with five wins, 14 losses and one overtime loss for 11 points.
The Grizzlys are going into the game after a disappointing weekend during which they lost both games of a home-and-home series versus the Calgary Canucks.
On Friday, Nov. 3, they were edged 3-2 in Calgary. On Saturday, the Canucks handed the Grizzlys a 3-1 loss at the Sportsplex.
